FEMA will be on site to conduct the second round of the Pfizer vaccines. They will also be administering the initial dose for any who are interested. Mora ISD was notified today that we had another COVID positive case. Due to the exposure, we will not be able to deliver meals on Friday, September 10 and on Monday, September 13th. Pending COVID test results, will dictate any change of the school reopening date, which was to be on September 14th. We will notify families of any change of the reopening date tomorrow, September 10th. Thank you and stay safe.

Upon consultation with our medical advisory team, the district has decided to remain in virtual learning until September 13th. This decision was made to place us in the position to best protect our students and return to an in-person setting safely. In-person learning will resume on Sept. 14. Please continue to do your part and take precautions to keep our community safe.

Mora ISD COVID Status Letter


Meals will be provided via bus routes during the virtual learning period of September 7th - September 13th. Your child will receive a ready to eat lunch and a breakfast for the following day. The buses will depart the district at 11 a.m. daily and will follow the after school drop off route schedule. For example; if your child gets dropped off at 4 p.m. then your meals should arrive at 11:15 a.m.

Due to another positive case in our district, the district has decided to continue with remote learning until Thursday, September 9th. All students Pre-K to 12th will return to in-person learning on September 9th. This will not affect any athletic events that are scheduled for next week. Please stay safe, wear your masks and practice social distancing at all times.

All students that are participating in sports need to have a physical by Friday, September 3, 2021. If physicals are not turned in students will not be allowed to participate and games/cross-country meets possibly will have to be canceled.
