Chromebooks for students K-5 will be available for pickup tomorrow at 8:30 am at the high school gym. Parents and students must remain in their vehicles at all times. Please note that you may not pickup a Chromebook for a child other than your own. Virtual classes will begin on Wednesday at regular times. Every student is required to sign into their Google Classroom tomorrow to ensure they have access and are ready to begin on Wednesday promptly at 8:15 am (following breakfast).

Mora ISD COVID Information
Free meals for children ages 1-18 yrs available from the Mora ISD cafeteria during the remote period August 31st - September 2nd. Tuesday's lunch: Lasagna, Peas & Carrots, Breadstick & fruit cup! Pickup sites and times: Mora Cafeteria 11-1:00pm CHET and Buena Vista Fire Dept.- 11:15-11:30 Guadalupita and Rainsville Fire Dept. 12-12:15 pm.
Please note that the closure tomorrow includes all sports and extracurricular activities.
Out of an abundance of caution, we will be cancelling school tomorrow, Monday, August 30, 2021 due to another report of a COVID positive test. This does include students currently on remote learning status. We will be completing contact tracing and evaluating our next steps. Safety is our top priority. More information will follow tomorrow.

Just a reminder that there is school tomorrow for Pre-K - 12th Grade students on August 27th, 2021.
Reminder: Pre-K meet & greet tonight @ 5:00 pm in Holman. Parents and students of Pre-K students are encouraged to attend.

Kindergarten students will be taking home a Language Usage Survey and any other unfinished registration forms in their planner today. Please return all forms no later than August 17th. Have a wonderful weekend!
Kindergarten classes will stay in Mora on Monday, August 16, for I-Station testing. Drop students off at the High School gym, as usual, and they will be escorted by their teachers to the elementary.
Cross Country Practice will start on Monday, August 23rd at 3:45pm for Middle and High School students. Athletes must have a current physical in order to participate.
Correction: The meeting is August 18th.
There will be a mandatory meeting for parents and students on Wednesday, August 18th at 6 pm at the HS Lecture Hall for any student interested in taking Dual-Credit Courses. LCC and NMHU will be on-site to help register students for courses

Mora Independent School District is participating in the Seamless Summer Food Option for the current school year 2021-22. If your children attend Mora Independent Schools, breakfast and lunch will be available to them at no charge. All students enrolled at this school may participate in the breakfast and lunch program at no charge to them.
Studies have shown that children who are not hungry perform better in school. By providing lunch to all children at no charge, we are hoping to create a better learning environment for our students.
The school breakfasts and lunches that we serve follow U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. The School Breakfast and Lunch Programs cannot succeed without your support; please encourage your children to participate in the school meal programs.
Meals will be served to all students at no charge regardless of the eligibility status. This year will be different in regards to Covid-19, but we are committed to doing our best for your children.
