Head Start & Early Head Start Families,
Due to an increase in hand, foot, and mouth disease cases, there will be no school for Head Start and Early Head Start on Monday, November 24 and Tuesay, November 25.
This temporary closure will allow time for additional cleaning and to help prevent further spread of illness. We appreciate your understanding and partnership in keeping our students and staff healthy.
If your child is showing any symptoms (fever, rash on hands/feet, mouth sores, etc.), please keep them home and contact your healthcare provider.

Food Service Director, MISD
We're excited to share that Mora ISD is now offering a Food 4 Kids school-based pantry to support any MISD students and families in need. There’s no cost, no judgment — just care and community.
If you or someone you know could use a little extra support, please contact Rachel Rogers at 575-447-0884 to request food assistance.
Together, we’re nourishing our future.

Mora Schools would like to remind all families and staff that elementary students are not permitted to walk to the gym for games by themselves. Teachers must have a visual of who is picking up each student before they are released. Additionally, students in grades 6 and under may not attend any athletic games or after-school events without an adult present. This is to ensure the safety and supervision of all students during evening and extracurricular activities. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe and accounted for during school events. Thank you for your continued support of our Rangers and Rangerettes!
