A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing cafeteria staff for preparing the delicious meals and to all the helpers who pitched in to serve our students. Your dedication made last week's menu of global flavors and fun possible!
We were so busy serving and celebrating that we forgot to take a picture of every entrée — but trust us, they were all delicious! 🍽️😄
We’re also so proud of our students for participating in the taste tests and exploring new menu items from around the world. Your enthusiasm keeps our program growing and inspires us to keep bringing fresh ideas to the cafeteria.
🎉 Congratulations to our drawing winners announced this morning during breakfast! Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating healthy, flavorful school meals and the people who make them happen every day.

Theme: Taste the World – Your School Lunch Passport
Get ready, students! National School Lunch Week is right around the corner — October 13th through 17th — and this year we’re taking your taste buds on an exciting trip around the world!
Each day, we’ll be “traveling” to a new country and exploring delicious school lunches inspired by international favorites:
🇮🇹 Italy – Pasta Primavera
🇬🇧 England – Baked Fish & Chips
🇲🇽 Mexico – Carne Asada Tacos
🇨🇳 China – Chicken Veggie Stir-Fry
Students will receive a Lunch Passport at the start of the week. Each time they try one of the featured international meals, they’ll get their passport stamped! After tasting all four meals, students can submit their completed passports and vote for their favorite dish.
All participants who complete their passports will be entered into a drawing to win a “Goodie Bag from Around the World” filled with fun surprises representing the countries we’ve visited!
This week is all about celebrating the diversity, creativity, and excitement that school meals bring to our students every day. We encourage everyone to participate, explore new flavors, and discover how food connects us across cultures.
Bon appétit! 🍝🌮🍟🥢

We would like to inform you that Mr. Solis will no longer be serving as the shop teacher at Mora Independent Schools due to personal reasons. We are grateful for the time, effort, and dedication he has given to our students and district.
At this time, the district is actively seeking a qualified replacement to continue providing our students with a strong hands-on learning experience in shop class. In the interim, students will be working on a supplemental curriculum until a new teacher has been hired.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the quality of instruction for our students.
Thank you for your continued support.
