MISD celebrated National School Breakfast Week with the theme “The Quest for School Breakfast.” Elementary students enjoyed a Breakfast Taste Testing Event, sampling items like Breakfast Pizza with Hashbrown Crust, Vegetable Frittata, Fun Fruit Breakfast Pizza, and Maple Baked French Toast Squares.
Students voted for their favorites on poster boards in the cafeteria, making the event fun and interactive while helping choose future breakfast menu items.

As we move forward with our Mora Elementary popcorn fundraiser, I would like to clarify expectations regarding permission slips and apologize for any confusion.
All permission forms are due to the office by Thursday, February 26th at noon. Brochures will be distributed that afternoon, and students will have two weeks to sell.
Regardless of whether your child is:
Participating in online sales
Participating in brochure sales
Choosing not to participate
We must have a permission slip on file for every student. This ensures we can accurately account for each student and maintain complete records.
If your child is opting out of the fundraiser, please indicate this on the form. The office will document whether field trip fees have been paid.

Luna Community College will be conducting Accuplacer testing for students in grades 9–12 interested in taking college courses this summer.
