
Unfortunately, we have met the 5% threshold that requires the district to move to remote learning on Monday, October 4, 2021 through Tuesday, October 19, 2021. On Monday (10/4/2021) elementary students can pick up their chrome books and classwork beginning at 12:30 PM. Middle school and high school students can pick up the books and materials from their lockers also beginning by at 12:30 PM. All students will return to school on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. All extracurricular and athletic activities will continue as planned as these are voluntary. Please follow COVID safe practices so our students can return safely and stay in school.

Meals will be provided via bus routes during the virtual learning period of October 4th - October 19th. Your child will receive a ready to eat lunch and a breakfast for the following day. The buses will depart the district at 11 a.m. daily and will follow the after school drop off route schedule. For example; if your child gets dropped off at 4 p.m. then your meals should arrive at 11:15 a.m. For your safety and ours please wear a face covering while picking up your child's meal. Just a reminder that there is school tomorrow, October 1, 2021, for all students PreK-12 grades.

Open gym for boy's basketball (grades 9-12) will begin on Monday, October 1st at 6 am at the high school gym.

Parents of students in Pre-K through 5th grade: please send newspapers and cardboard rolls from paper towels to the art classroom for projects. Please send them as you have them available throughout the year.

Just a reminder that there is no school for students (Pre-K - 12) tomorrow, September 17, 2021.

Students in grades K-12, please bring your Chromebook back to school tomorrow morning. Chromebooks and charges will be collected at your school site. Chargers must be returned with Chromebook.

Mora ISD COVID Information


FEMA will be on site to conduct the second round of the Pfizer vaccines. They will also be administering the initial dose for any who are interested. Mora ISD was notified today that we had another COVID positive case. Due to the exposure, we will not be able to deliver meals on Friday, September 10 and on Monday, September 13th. Pending COVID test results, will dictate any change of the school reopening date, which was to be on September 14th. We will notify families of any change of the reopening date tomorrow, September 10th. Thank you and stay safe.
