MISD will be conducting the SAT for Seniors on October 26, 2023. If your child is interested in taking the SAT please have him/her sign up at the office no later than September 6th. Fee waivers are available upon request. Thank you.

Just a reminder that bus 20 will not be running this afternoon.

PreK and Kinder students will be at elementary gym for pickup. Those who ride buses that are running regularly will be on their bus.

Due to flooding, please be advised that buses 12, 20, 50 and 6 will not be running this afternoon. All students will be kept at their respective buildings until parents/guardians are able to pick them up. Parents, do not attempt to travel until all roads are safe. All after school activities will be canceled this afternoon.

Cross Country for Middle and High School students will begin today (8/28/2023) at 4:30 pm at the high school track field.

Elementary students (PreK-5), please bring or send pictures of anything you are proud of (school work , hunting season, 4H events, sports, or anything else you can think of) for our Elementary Bragging Board(s).We will begin putting pictures up this week, but will accept pictures all year long. We are so proud of all you do and want to showcase our great students! Bring to your teacher or email to talcon@mora.k12.nm.us (subject: brag pic).

There will be no cross country practice (JV & V) until further notice.

MHS and LGMS volleyball practice will begin tomorrow beginning at 4 pm. Cross country will begin on August 21.

The MISD volleyball team is conducting a fundraiser to purchase warm ups and pink out jerseys. Any girl who will be playing volleyball this season needs to contact Coach Velarde or Coach Gallegos to pick up fund raising form as soon as possible. Monies are due on 8/15/2023. Thank you.

Welcome back to 2023-2024 school year. This year parents will be able to register his/her child using our online registration portal. Please login into your Parent Portal to complete the online registration forms. If you are a returning student complete the "Returning Student Forms" only, DO NOT complete the New Student Forms. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact your child's respective site secretary or administrator. Furthermore, your building principal will be sending out information in regards the 2023-2024 School Year.

SEAMLESS SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM will be available July 17th - July 27th. Meals free for all children 18 years and under • Breakfast (8am-9am) and Lunch (11am - 12:30pm)- Meals will be available to eat at the Mora Cafeteria or for Pick-up at the CHET (11:45-12:00) and Rainsville (12:15-12:30) Fire Departments.

Please review thoroughly the new NMAA bylaws that were approved by the State. MISD will comply with all Sports Regulations.
