Middle school will be having an end-of-the-year field trip on May 2 to the Isotopes game in Albuquerque. A permission slip has been sent home with the students. Please sign the permission slip and return it as soon possible. Also middle students (7th & 8th grades) will be having a spring formal dance on May 5 from 2 to 5 PM at the High School atrium.
Please be advised that there will be an early release at 12:30 pm on April 30th due to a staff in-service.
LGMS students will be NM-MSSA testing tomorrow 4/17/2024. Please make sure they bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school. Good luck to all students.
Students on the 2nd and 3rd grade field trip will be arriving at MISD at approximately 8:30 pm.
Parents of MISD students, please be advised that when picking up a child from a field trip, parents can sign out the student with no prior notice. However, if a person other than legal guardian or parent is picking up a child, there needs to be prior authorization from the principal of the school.
PreK-1st grade field trip is leaving Las Vegas. Buses will arrive at main campus in approximately 30 minutes.
Elementary students, due to use of green screen for photography, please don't wear green for spring pictures today.

Due to inclement weather there will be a 2 hour delay for students tomorrow, March 27. Staff will report at 9 am with the exception of maintenance and custodians who will report at their regular time to ensure the grounds and facilities are ready. Be safe and stay warm.

Please join us for Open House/PTC Conferences on Wednesday, March 27 , 2024 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers in regards to his/her's progress during the first 9-week period. MHS will also be hosting a Career Fair on this day. Due to Open-House, MISD will be releasing at 12:30 pm on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have any questions please contact your child's site secretary.
Parents of PreK-5 students, please send a white T-shirt with your child to school on Monday. We will be decorating them for Down Syndrome awareness on Monday (3/5) and having a Down Syndrome presentation and walk on Tuesday (3/26).
Parents and next year's Players, There will be a Parent and Players off-season basketball meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the High School Lecture Hall. The meeting is to discuss the off-season basketball plans for the spring tournaments and summer tournaments and other workouts. All interested boys that will be in 8th-12th grades next school year are welcome to participate. The off-season basketball workouts and tournaments will not interfere with spring sports for those that are participating in them. Thank you and see you tomorrow.
