Our middle school track program will hold boys’ and girls’ practices on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM in the elementary gym. Please ensure we have a physical on file for participation. Once the weather permits, practices will move to the outdoor track.

Update on Foreign Teachers.


Mr. Steven Salinas, aka "Coach," is one of 20 science teachers selected to be part of the science "Ambitious Science Teacher" workshop. The program is sponsored by PROJECT CAMINOS New Mexico, NMHU, and ARMAS in education.Â
The goal of the program is to improve support for students in STEM , enhance curriculum, and a study.

CES 6 YEAR GRANT UPDATE.


Due to inclement weather the following changes have been made:
Finance Meeting that was scheduled to take place this evening has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2025 @ 4:30 p.m.
The Board Meeting that was scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled for Thursday January 30th @ 4:30 p.m.

As a precautionary measure due to the extreme cold that is forecasted for this coming Tuesday, MISD (staff and students) will be on remote learning. We may have to continue remote learning on Wednesday. Will keep you updated. Stay safe and warm.

The peak of the cold and flu season is upon us! To prevent widespread flu in the school, we recommend that you child stay home from school if experiencing flu or cold symptoms.


Mora Valley Community Health Services, Inc. would like to introduce and welcome aboard our new School-Based Health Center Coordinator, Megan Chavez. We would also like to remind you that MVCHS is providing medical services on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and dental services on Mondays. We are scheduling both new and established patients.
