
The Department of Health has opened up slots for PFIZER vaccines for children UNDER 12 years old. The vaccine clinic will take place at the Mora Independent School District on Friday January 21, 2022, in the Elementary Gym from 10:00 am to Noon. You must register at cvvaccine.nmhealth.org.

The Middle School Girls and Boys Basketball Games for today, December 15, 2021 against Mesa Vista at Mora have been canceled due to Mesa Vista closing school for the day due to inclement weather.

Lazaro Garcia (Mora) Middle School students participated in a Thanksgiving Food Drive and food donations were given to The Samaritan House. A heartfelt thanks to all who participated that made our Thanksgiving Food Drive a great success.

Mora Independent Schools would like to thank our NM Attorney Generals Office for providing our students with a presentation on bullying on September 28th. We would also like to thank Officer Cortes from our Mora County Sheriff's Department and Bernadette Cowell with our County DWI Department for providing a second presentation on bullying on November 29th. "It takes a village to raise a child".
