Due to the current fire situation, Mora Independant Schools and Mora Headstart will continue to be closed for the week of May 2nd through May 8th. We will provide limited educational services via alternative modalities May 3rd. We are asking for your patience during this time as we have many staff members and students affected by the fires. Please stay safe, and take care of each other. Further information will follow on May 2nd.

We hope everyone is doing well amongst these uncertain times. As well all know, the staff and students of MISD were evacuated due to the Calf Canyon and Hermits Peak Fire. Per NMPED, we are required to offer a learning model as early as next week. The type of learning model is contingent on fire behavior and evacuation status after the upcoming weekend's wind events. We are hoping for the best. In order to create the most effective learning model for our school please complete following survey. The survey is for both staff and students of MISD.
