The MISD yearbook for this year and last year are available for purchase. The flyer can be found in your child's Google Classroom and on the School Facebook page. Click the link to create an account and purchase your books. If you purchase a yearbook before May 30th it will be delivered to the school free of charge, otherwise you can pay shipping charges for home delivery.

Wednesday, May 24th, we will have a 5th grade promotion beginning at 1:00 pm at the High School Lecture Hall. Please join us to celebrate our 5th grade students.
Wednesday, May 24th, there will be a Celebration of Learning for grades 1st-4th beginning at 9:30 am. It will be held in the Elementary Gym.
Mora Holman Elementary parents, please note that we will have field day at Coyote Creek tomorrow, May 23, 2023. We will leave campus at 9:30 and return by 2:30 (weather permitting). Please ensure your child has a hat, sunblock, plenty of water, and a light jacket. Also, make sure the shoes your child wears are appropriate for outdoor activities.

We are aware of flooding in the Guadalupita area. Busses will not cross dangerous areas and will bring students back on campus until the waters subside and it is safe to travel. Students can be picked up by parents at the main gym.

Parents of Elementary students, please note that Día de la Cultura will be held on May 18 at the HS gym beginning at 9 a.m. While there is an order that students will perform, there is not a set time. Please be there at 9:00 to ensure you see your child. We anticipate the performance will last about 1.5 hours including viewing displays of work and art. We hope you'll join us!
Tomorrow's Holman Elementary PreK graduation will be held at the Mora campus at the elementary gym beginning at 10:00 am.
5th grade and 6th grade students will be attending the Collin's Lake outdoor enrichment program on May 12, 2023. Students will be bussed from the school at 8:30 and will return at 2 pm. Lunch will be provided.
Due to the wildfire in the area the Mora High School gym will be open for any evacuees.
We are aware of a statewide social media threat to schools. It has been determined that this treat is not credible, and it is a hoax. The threat has been investigated by NM State Police, FBI, and Homeland Security. Students are safe and there is no threat to our schools.
School Lunch Hero Day 2023!
Help us to celebrate our School Lunch Heroes at MISD on Friday, May 5th by thanking them for their hard work and dedication it takes to make sure our students receive a healthy, nutritious meal each day.
MISD will be having a campus cleanup tomorrow. Students and staff will be doing their part to help beautify the campus. Please ensure your child brings a hat and a water bottle. Thank you.
Fourth and ninth grade students will be going to Collins Lake Ranch tomorrow. Please wear a hat and sunblock and bring a water bottle.
Please note that the Scholastic Book fair in the elementary will be open today, 5/4/23, until 6 pm. Additionally, the book fair will be open all day tomorrow (until 3:45 pm). Parents are welcome to come in and escort students to the book fair.
